Brief History & Introduction

Presently the department is housed in Lahore ward which is a part of old Mayo Hospital building. The department has Audiology facilities, Vertigo Clinic, Laryngoscopic evaluation, Ultrasound Sinuscan and Temporal Laboratory in the Out Patients Department. In the indoor section, a mini operation theatre, demonstration room, student examination room, close circuit TV and VCR facilities are available.

The operation theatre is fully equipped for routine ENT Surgery. Facilities are available for Microsurgery and laser surgery. This is the only unit in Punjab where laser surgery is being performed. The department contributes scientific papers in the national and international conferences and in national journals.
